The GT4 European Series celebrated its season debut at the Italian Autodromo Nazionale Monza racecourse last weekend as the official supporting programme of the Blancpain GT Series. However, the weather god did not mean it well with the 35 starters and opened the sky gates for continuous rainfalls.
At the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia in Sepang Leipert Motorsport had a season opener full of thrills. While they were still struggling with heavy rain in the first race, the driver duo Wee / Leitch conquered the podium of the ProAm classification on Sunday.

The 2019 motorsport season is underway! Last weekend the Lamborghini Super Trofeo made its season debut at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia. Involved in the battle for points: The Leipert Motorsport driver duo Brendon Leitch (New Zealand, 23) and Keong Wee (Singapore, 39). On 5.543 kilometres of asphalt the two fought for a solid result in the top five before being cheered on by the spectators in the second race.
Well-known and new faces for Leipert Motorsport in the GT4 European Series: In addition to Luci Trefz / Marcus Paverud, the experienced team is also being strengthened with the duo Max Koebolt / Jan Kisiel. Leipert Motorsport wants to be in the game with the two Silver pairings in 2019 when it comes to awarding the championship trophy.

Within the series of the ADAC GT Masters, the ADAC GT4 Germany will be held for the first time in 2019. In addition to an extensive TV programme on Sport 1, an exciting racing programme awaits motorsport enthusiasts: After all, the ADAC has already received more than 30 entries. Of course, Leipert Motorsport can't be missing! For the German team supported by MOTUL, this is a return to the ADAC platform where the team was active in the GT Masters from 2009 to 2013.
