Last weekend Leipert Motorsport started the 5th round of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe with two Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo on the Nürburgring into an eventful weekend.

While the race held a podium for #2 Jan Kisiel/Morgan Haber on Saturday, Chrisal Lamborghini with the #26 Niels Lagrange/Pieter Vanneste had another podium finish on Sunday.

In the first race of the weekend, # 2 Jan Kisiel and Morgan Haber were able to secure a very strong 3rd place overall after starting from P12. This was the first podium of the season for the 2 Lamborghini-junior drivers.

The #26 with Niels Lagrange and Pieter Vanneste started from P26 and pushed really hard. They overtook seventeen competitors in the highly competitive field of drivers and crossed the finish line on P9 overall, P4 in the PRO-AM class - the podium within reach.

At Sunday's race, the Eifel weather at the Nürburgring once again went crazy. The start of the race was leaded from the Safetycar because of onset rain. #2 Kisiel/Haber started the race from the 3rd row. Kisiel was able to defend his place during the race and handed over the Huracan on P6 to Haber. Morgan Haber also showed a great performance, but then he was turned around by a rival and fell back a few places. Finally, he fought his way back and crossed the finish line on P8 total, P6 class PRO. #26 Lagrange and Vanneste started from row 5, had exciting fights, which were rewarded with 7th place overall, 2nd place the PRO-AM class and a podium.

Team manager Marcel Leipert: We are very satisfied with the Nürburgring weekend and we are looking forward to the last race weekend of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe and the World Finals in Imola, where we also meet our drivers of the Asian championship. Mikko Eskelinen, Maxx Ebenal, Ben Gersekowski and Rory Collingbourne will deliver great fights with their "European" colleagues.

The team around team manager Ingo Leipert started already in direction Shanghai (China) to the next round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia next weekend.
