The Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe started last weekend, 21th-23th April 2017 at the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in Italy. It’s another exciting motorsport year with the fastest one-make series in the world and a starting grid of 35 cars. Leipert Motorsport entered two Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo.

Continuous growth for Leipert Motorsport in season 2017

After a thrilling and very successful season 2016 with the win of the European Championship title and the Vice-World Championship title in the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo series the team decided to bring also 2 additional cars to the Asian Lamborghini Super Trofeo.

For the 12th time in a row Leipert Motorsport participated last week in the 24h race at Dubai (UAE). The team and their drivers were able to gain again on a Lamborghini Huracán ST a grandiose result with a 2nd place on the podium.

The private practice session at Wednesday with the drivers Oliver Webb (GB), Jake Rattenbury (GB), Harald Schlotter (GER) and JC Perrin (CAN) went well.

Last week, Leipert Motorsport took their two Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo to the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, Spain, where they took part in the final races of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Europe and the Lamborghini World Final. The team comprising of drivers Mikko Eskelinen/Ben Gersekowski (#2) and Shahin Nouri (#4) reached 5 splendid podium positions in four races. At the end of the racing week-end, Shahin Nouri crowned this for the team most successful and eventful season with his European Championship and Vice World Champion-titles in this most thrilling brand trophy of the world.
